Labor Day Weekend at Nana's

We are having a great time at Nana's.  We came up yesterday and Mike, Dylan and Aida came up today.  The kids have had a great time playing.  MaKara enjoyed giving 4-wheeler rides and Mom put the rest of us to work.  It is "labor" day after all.

Waiting for Deer Season

MaKara is so ready for deer season, she's shooting in 100 degree heat!

Back to School 2013

Makara's 1st day of high school was Aug. 19.  She had a great 1st day but I worried about her all day.  Her school is huge and she didn't get her schedule until that morning.  She had a blast.  She's not crazy about the homework but she loves school! I only have one picture of her.  She didn't want me to take any at all so I'm glad I got one.

Tylar's 1st day of kindergarten was Aug. 22.  She was a little nervous but she did great.  She loves her teacher Mrs. Williamson and she loves school!

Tylar made a friend the 2nd day of school.

Summer School Pre-K

Last week Tylar attended summer school pre-k at East End Elementary.  Mrs. Stinnett was her teacher and she had a wonderful time.  She is excited to start school in a few weeks.

Valentine's Day Decorating

I've had quite a bit of time at home recently since my entire family has had the flu.  Tylar and I decided to do some Valentine's Day decorating.  This year I decorated with entirely new stuff I had made.  I'm still not done but I wanted to share some pictures.

Gotta keep this thing up!

It's been FOREVER since I've posted so I'm not even going to catch up!  Christmas was greatThe ice storm was a totally different thing.  We were out for 4 days but we were warm and had food.  We sent the big girls to friends that had power so it was just the little ones.  I pulled mattresses off beds and they jumped and ran around and there were no ER visits!  They were real troopers.

I got to sub several days last week at EEI and really enjoyed it.  I love seeing all those kindergartners so grown up! This next week I'm going to be able to work at EEE and EEI.  Subbing has been very enjoyable.

We've been able to stay relatively healthy.  Just some minor colds.  Jaycee hurt her hand yesterday at softball so she is miserable.  Hopefully it will heal fast!

Just a few pictures from Christmas morning.  I took like 1000.  I had to be VERY careful about the ones I posted of the girls.  Wouldn't want to embarrass them would I???

Here are a few shots from my back porch at sunrise on Dec. 26th.

I was pretty impressed with my pictures if I do say so myself!
